Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
By accessing or using Selfhook, you unconditionally accept these Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
Selfhook is a B2B SaaS platform enabling SEO automation and content production, including: AI-powered content generation, automated workflow orchestration, automated publishing to WordPress, and SEO analysis and performance tracking. Selfhook acts as an assistance and automation tool and does not replace human expertise.
2. Account Creation
Access to the service requires creating an account. The user agrees to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of their credentials, and be responsible for all activity carried out through their account. The user is responsible for the access they grant to third-party services (WordPress, Google, etc.).
3. Subscription, Billing and Quotas
Access to full features is subject to a paid subscription. Payments are processed via Stripe. Prices are shown excluding taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Each subscription includes usage limits (quotas): number of generated articles, workflows, sites, and SEO audit volume. Selfhook reserves the right to limit usage in case of overrun, suspend accounts in case of abuse, and charge for exceptional usage. A 14-day money-back guarantee may apply depending on current offers.
4. Service Usage
The user agrees to use Selfhook legally, responsibly, and in accordance with SEO best practices. It is strictly prohibited to generate or publish illegal, misleading or fraudulent content; use the service for spam or abusive manipulation of search engines; circumvent technical limitations or quotas; or resell, rent or redistribute the service without authorisation. The user remains fully responsible for generated content, published content, and SEO consequences.
5. Automation and Publishing
Selfhook enables automation of content generation and publishing. The user acknowledges that all automation must be configured and monitored, that errors may occur (content, publishing, format), and that automatic publishing may lead to unintended effects. Selfhook does not guarantee any SEO or business results.
6. Third-party Integrations
Selfhook integrates with external services (WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.). Selfhook cannot be held liable for unavailability of these services, API changes, data loss related to these services, or user-side configuration errors. The user is solely responsible for the access and permissions they provide.
7. Data and Security
Selfhook implements reasonable security measures to protect data. The user accepts that certain data may be stored (configurations, content, logs) and that activity logs are retained for security and product improvement purposes. Selfhook cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Intellectual Property
The Selfhook platform and its components are protected by intellectual property law. Generated content belongs to the user. Use of AI models is subject to the terms of third-party providers.
9. Liability
Selfhook is provided "as is". Selfhook does not guarantee the absence of errors, continuity of service, SEO performance, or economic results. Selfhook's liability is strictly limited to the amounts paid by the user during the last 12 months.
10. Suspension and Termination
The user may cancel their subscription at any time. Selfhook reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these Terms, abusive or fraudulent use, or resource overload or automation abuse.
11. Modifications
Selfhook reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service. Any major modification will be notified at least 30 days before it takes effect.
12. Applicable Law
These Terms of Service are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
